THE ENGINE FORWARD FROM
ITS AGE
THE FIRST WITH EURO 3
IN BRAZIL
Pioneer in Latin America with Common Rail of last Generation
MWM presents, the first Brazilian Diesel engine approved by the EURO 3 norm.
MWM Sprint Electronic with point technology in fuel feeding system.
MWM Sprint Electronic: highlights
1. The first engine Diesel manufactured in Brazil to obtain approval for EURO 3 Norm
2. The best performance of the category.
3. Reduced noise and gases emissions levels.
4. Reduced fuel consumption.
5. Fuel injection pressure controlled electronically: maximum performance at all work strips.
6. Turbocharger with variable geometry (VNT) regulated electronically: power at all the operation strips.
7. Fast diagnosis through electronic indication: precise and economic maintenance.
8. ECU Electronic Control Unit: it monitors and manage the injection pressure, optimizing the economy, performance and emissions.
9. Extremely low vibration level.
10. MWM technical support: service guaranteed
Understanding Common Rail System
The fuel is pumped from the tank, goes through a piping to the high pressure pump. There, it is compressed and it stays stored under high pressure (up to 1350 bar) inside a specific reservoir, the Rail.
A sophisticated system
maintains the pressure constant inside the Rail. Under high pressure, the
fuel is injected directly inside the cylinders through the nozzles, that are
electronically controlled by the ECU (Electronic Control Unit). ECU processes
thousands of information, like engine speed, demanded acceleration and air
temperature in thousandth of seconds and it determines the amount and ideal
moment of the fuel injection in a determined situation. ECU also manage the
pilot injection, optimizing sensibly the combustion. The result is surprising:
gases emission reduction, fuel consumption reduction, vibrations reduction
and a homogeneous engine operation.
